Characteristics of Plywood:
High structural strength, better moisture resistance than fiberboard, moderately weighted, unique resonance characteristics, slightly weaker acoustic uniformity, higher processing cost, and slightly less smooth surface.
Overall, plywood is more suitable for professional speakers with higher requirements for structural strength and moisture resistance (such as outdoor performance speakers and heavy-duty monitoring speakers), but fine processing is needed to compensate for the lack of acoustic uniformity.
