All product materials can be selected from MDF or plywood, water-based environmentally friendly paint, water-based matte paint, polyurea paint, color, hole opening, etc. Various materials and processes are optional, and high-end customization can be done as needed.
MDF Features:
Stable acoustic performance, easy to process and shape, convenient surface treatment, moderate cost, poor moisture resistance, and relatively heavy weight.
Overall, MDF, with its stable acoustic performance and ease of processing, has become a commonly used material for professional speaker enclosures, but moisture resistance and weight issues need to be addressed when using it.
Plywood Features:
High structural strength, better moisture resistance than MDF, relatively moderate weight, unique resonance characteristics, slightly weaker acoustic uniformity, higher processing cost, and slightly less smooth surface.
Overall, plywood is more suitable for professional speakers with higher requirements for structural strength and moisture resistance (such as outdoor performance speakers and heavy-duty monitoring speakers), but fine processing is needed to compensate for the lack of acoustic uniformity.
